At the end of December, Montenegro tightened the rules of entry: from 2 to 12 January 2022, access to the country was only possible for those vaccinated or ill with COVID-19. Tourists also had to provide a negative PCR test, done no earlier than 72 hours before the trip, or a rapid antigen test no older than 48 hours.
