The Monitoring Committee estimates the structural budget deficit of the joint governments for 2022 at 4.2 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), an improvement of more than 1.1 billion euros since the budget was drawn up in October. However, the figures do not yet take into account the war in Ukraine.
