It seems that actress Monique van de Ven (73) has thrown all vanity overboard. Where she was once at the Botox Doctor every weekend, she now walks unfiltered and in white pajamas as a kind of Gooisch ghost through the forest. From Turkish fruit to morning mist: what exactly happened to this woman?
White pajamas
Nowadays, Monique just leaves the door without makeup, something that old colleague Linda de Mol really never does. “Sure, that doesn’t interest me a ball,” she shouts in Fidelity. “I now gained a makeup for this interview, but actually I never do that at home. I let the dog here in the forest in my pajamas and without makeup.”
In pajamas?! “Such a white linen pajamas. I always brought our son Sammy to school in pajamas. I don’t care what others think about it.”
Botox a few times
Monique himself is completely done with those cosmetic procedures. “We are going to younger, increasingly smoother. It means that we will all look the same soon. I have done Botox a few times. But in the end I think: is it getting better?”
Finally, the faith has a nice fact about Monique: she has no doorbell. “A bell is missing from the house that borders a nature reserve, you can just beat,” said the Dagblad.
