Minister Barry Madlener and State Secretary Chris Jansen of Infrastructure and Water Management write this today in a letter to the Lower House. It concerns the A7/A8 Amsterdam-Hoorn, the A6 Almere Oostvaarders-Lelystad, the A50 Ewijk-Bankhoef-Paalgraven, the A16 of Brienenoord corridor and the A4 Burgerveen-N14.
Plan had been there for a while
The plan to broaden the highway between Amsterdam and Hoorn had been there for some time. The broadening had to improve the accessibility in the area between Amsterdam and Hoorn. The accessibility of that area has been under pressure for some time.
But according to the PVV ministers, the widening of the A7 is one of the projects that cannot be implemented before 2030. Madlener now wants to use the reserved money for ‘projects that are feasible and feasible’.
