On Monday morning, code orange applies in the northwest of the Netherlands. The KNMI warns of heavy wind gusts of 100 to 120 kilometers per hour in North Holland, Friesland and the Wadden area. Code yellow applies to the rest of the Netherlands. The ANWB advises to only take to the road if there is no other option.
