Mobilize car-sharing with Dacia Spring inaugurated in Milan

The shared mobility service of Mobilize lands in Italy with the first experimentation in Milan. Available to customers 450 Dacia Spring in the name of sustainability

A new shared mobility service reaches the Italian roads. Milan will be the first city where Zity will test its services, making 450 Dacia Spring available for very short-term rental. The application is the result of the collaboration between Mobilize (a financial company owned by Renault) and the Spanish firm Ferrovial. The use is free floating: the user can start and stop the rental anywhere in the city and at any time. Without having to leave the vehicle in dedicated parking lots.

How does it work

To access the services, you need to download the smartphone application. Free, as well as registration, requires the creation of a user profile through their personal data, the scanning of the identity card and driving license and the credit card number. Activation takes place within a maximum of 24 hours. The hourly cost is equal to 0.23 euros per minute but after four hours of use, a fixed rate of 29 euros is automatically activated, allowing considerable savings. Other rental plans include a sum of 49 euros for 24 hours of use and 99 euros for exclusive use of the vehicle for 72 hours. Zity has also developed a Stand-by mode of use: at a cost of 0.12 euros per minute, the rental of the car is maintained even during the stop (for example while shopping). The launch phase will be followed by an adjustment of prices which will rise to 0.29 euros per minute and 0.15 euros per minute for stand-by mode.
