A mobility scooter was launched in Nijeveen this afternoon. The driver was injured.
The accident happened on the Nieuwe Meppelerweg. The victim was taken out of the water by the fire brigade, after which she was taken to the hospital. How the accident could happen is unknown.
The new Meppelerweg was closed for some time.
