Mobility Minister Annick De Ridder after an eventful week with school bus drama and aggression on the coastal tram: “If I had been on that tram, there would now be ten people in the hospital”

It was the most eventful week since she took office for Minister of Mobility Annick De Ridder (N-VA). Deliberately without cameras, she visited the railway crossing in Buggenhout where the school bus was hit by a train. And then there was the aggression on the coastal tram in De Haan. According to De Ridder, the court must set an example. “It makes my blood boil. I have been in such situations a few times myself.”
