In the professional sector in Mixed Martial Arts, titles include, but there are also international tournaments in the amateur area. Alina Dalaslan causes a sensation in autumn when she puts on the crown at the World Championships. For the 24-year-old, her first professional fight is now on the program.
At first glance, one would hardly assume that it is not a good idea to stand up with Alina Dalaslan from Stuttgart. Because the 24-year-old is probably Germany’s most dangerous and quick-witted accountant.
Dalaslan is a martial artist through and through – and also MMA world champion. After the greatest possible consecration of sports in the amateur area, she gives in Stuttgart at Oktagon 68 (on March 8 from 5:30 p.m. on RTL+)* Your professional debut. Nervousness does not feel, as she says in an interview with NTV/RTL. “The hut will burn,” she promises.
The combination of full-time job and MMA profile is not unusual. Especially at the beginning of the career, the fees are in the low four -digit range, the athletes usually complete up to four fights a year.

Of course that is not enough. Accordingly, the Stuttgart native cannot yet live on the MMA sport, works in accounting with a large German car manufacturer. The employer will find your unusual hobby “interesting,” says Dalaslan. “My colleagues support me. With a blue eye there was a look in the canteen – but that’s what you’re going to shop. But my colleagues know where it comes from.”
But not only the colleagues support Dalaslan. Your family is closed behind her decision to gain a foothold in the professional area in the future – even if protective equipment is no longer worn here and significantly harder hits are the order of the day. “Parents are parents and are always afraid for their child, especially if you make martial arts and it seems brutal,” she says. “But they are there and support me.”
“Dates with media like RTL – that’s all new to me”
Since she was 16, Dalaslan has been doing martial arts, and from kickboxing she came to the Mixed Martial Arts. Due to the step into the professional area, the training intensity has now increased. She completes her units before and after work. In addition, many editorial offices have become aware of the Schwäbin. “The appointments with media like RTL – that’s all new to me. I had to get used to it first. The priority was always: the preparation must not suffer – and it doesn’t have that either.”
She always prepares well and is even her biggest opponent and critic, admits Dalaslan. “I have set personal goals for my fight and want to apply new things. Perform well, stay cool and not let yourself be under the spell of the hall.” In front of 12,000 spectators in Stuttgart, the atmosphere will certainly be different from its World Cup win in Uzbekistan, and her opponent Kamila Simkova is also much more experienced with six professional fights and a heavy touchstone for her debut.
“All a question of mental preparation. I wasn’t nervous at the World Cup either,” says Dalaslan. “I have already won against really good girls. Nervousness only leads to unnecessary mistakes. You can be distracted and are not focused. So I’m completely relaxed and I hope that stays that way.”
Dalaslan wants to inspire women for MMA
The young fighter was open to many doors after her World Cup victory in MMA sports. For Oktagon, however, she consciously decided because “it is simply the largest organization in Germany and it just fit with the home game in Stuttgart”.
In her first professional fight against her Czech opponent, she relies on her good distance and striking. “If I end up with submission, it would also be a highlight,” said Dalaslan.
The Schwäbin then tempted the fact that she completes her professional debut on World Women’s Day. “I just want to motivate the girls – but also boys – to start with MMA. It’s such a great sport: you are powdered, you grow every day and get self -confidence. In a gym you also have a lot of support – it is like a second huge family.” The local hero should certainly be the support of the ranks.
