Roos Braam from Hintham was named the best teacher of the year 2025 on Thursday afternoon. The 31-year-old teacher Roos teaches at the Kameleon child center in Den Bosch and received the prize in the Primary Education category.
That reports DTV News. Braam was in the top three in the Netherlands together with Amber Schopman and Chris Beijer. In the end the jury chose the Bossche teacher. In the speech of the jury it became clear why the choice fell on her:.
“This teacher shows a huge enthusiasm for the profession and the students. The job satisfaction is splashing and there is energy for 48 hours a day. This teacher ensures that learning is a joint journey in which language and math are connected to other areas. The world is the classroom and the classroom the world. She really lets education swing.”
Under hard cheers of her class, the students of group 8a from the Kameleon child center in Den Bosch, she received her prize and a bunch of flowers.
