Minister wants childcare inspection reports online soon

She absolutely wants the inspection reports and complaints about each specific childcare facility to be available online by the middle of next month. Because parents need to know that their children are in good hands.

The outrage is huge. Due to two cases outside our province, but with consequences for every parent who brings their child to a shelter. Transparency will increase. Hilde crevits, Flemish Minister for Welfare: “The inspection reports will be online. This will also be the case for the enforcement reports. That will happen in phases. You can’t do everything in one day. There will be one complaints button that people can turn to. One button to see the status of a nursery. Because, as far as I’m concerned, we’re also coming back to prehistoric times when it comes to computer science.”

Crevits also wants a faster closure in case of doubt.
