Formula 1 excitement will be experienced in Türkiye for 5 seasons starting from 2027. Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak made a statement at the press conference held in this regard.

Stating that they want to make young people love motor sports, Minister Bak said, “We are preparing to turn this place into a very lively and active environment. This will now be the center of energy for young people. During this process, a great synergy has emerged with the experience of our President, our sponsor, our Minister of Tourism, the support given to us, Türkiye’s organizational capacity, the historical texture of Istanbul, everything combined. And with this vision, Formula 1 is now here!” he said.
“Türkiye IS A SAFE COUNTRY”
Stating that they have proven something else to the whole world, Bak said, “Turkey is now a safe country. A world brand like Formula 1 prefers Türkiye. The Automobile Federation has made a great effort. We have a lot of work to do. This track is also the largest sports investment in the history of the Republic. It is a large facility. This facility needs modernization. We will build new tracks. A go-kart track will be built here. Our young people will come here from now on.” he said.
Referring to the organizations that Türkiye will host, Minister Bak said, “Turkey will organize the 2032 European Football Championship together with Italy. We will also organize the 2027 European Games in Istanbul. Our facilities are ready. There is a Turkey that successfully organizes many international organizations. Türkiye’s youth deserve this.
