Minister Demir promises to tackle the asbestos problem in schools after revelations in HLN: “We will reimburse removal 100 percent”

Flemish Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA) wants to release approximately 5.4 million euros annually to tackle the asbestos problem in schools. She does this after the HLN research unit discovered that 9 out of 10 schools tested are not asbestos safe. The minister promises that schools will from now on be reimbursed for 100 percent of their asbestos removal and also calls on them to submit their files.
