According to insiders, millions of euros worth of parts have been stolen from the Eindhoven truck manufacturer DAF. The theft was allegedly committed by employees and took place sometime in the last half of 2024.

That reports the Eindhovens Dagblad Wednesday morning. DAF confirms to Omroep Brabant that truck parts have been stolen from the company’s premises by employees.

“It goes without saying that a report has been filed with the police and appropriate measures have been taken against the employees involved. We will not make any further announcements,” reads the statement from the Eindhoven company.

It is unclear exactly what was stolen. Insiders tell the newspaper that the total value of the stolen parts amounts to ‘a few million euros’. It is not known what happened to the parts.

The police have not yet responded to the theft.
