The new season of Miljoenenjacht is postponed by six months due to the meltdown of Linda de Mol. Actually, the premiere would be on March 27, but that has now been cancelled.
Linda de Mol has completely collapsed. Not only because her boyfriend Jeroen Rietbergen, as bandleader of The Voice of Holland, misbehaved in a nasty way and their relationship is therefore over, but also because she has had half the country over her because of the silence for a year and a half about the misbehavior of Ali b.

Less than a month ago, Linda went wild on a number of critical media personalities, including Angela de Jong and Beau van Erven Dorens, but since then she has been silent. She appears to have taken the family’s private jet to recover in Portugal. And she doesn’t feel like driving into the Media Park yet.
The consequence? Million dollar hunt is canceled on March 27. According to Shownieuws, SBS 6 already had a plan B ready, namely Winston Gerschtanowitz who would talk things through, but that was not chosen. “Miljoenenjacht and Linda belong together”, says sponsor Postcode Loterij.

Lottery boss Imme Rog says he only wants to make Millions Hunt with Linda. “We are therefore happy to wait until Linda will present her program, as usual together with Winston and again with a thousand people.”
It could of course just be that Linda didn’t want someone else to take over Million Hunt. We all know how resentful she is about the fact that her past shows Oh Wat Een Jaar and Weet Ik Veel are now being talked into each other by other presenters.
Suitable solution
TV director Marco Louwerens of Talpa says: “Linda previously indicated to us that she wanted to stop her work for the time being, and from Talpa we naturally understand that.”
“In consultation with the parties involved, it was subsequently decided that we would broadcast the new season of Miljoenenjacht in the autumn, so that we can make the program in its original composition. We are currently looking for a suitable solution for the disappearance of Miljoenenjacht in the programming from March 27.”
