Millions for an app that helps the doctor understand: ‘Better informed patient is a better patient’

Rotterdam start-up Ditto has raised 7.6 million euros for its app that helps patients better understand what is said in the consultation room. The app translates medical conversations into understandable summaries and can thus save healthcare costs. “A better informed patient is simply a better patient,” says co-founder Tobias Polak.
