Milestone for Flemming: 52 weeks non-stop in the Top 40 | show

A special milestone for hit singer Flemming: since his debut, he has been in the Top 40 non-stop with his songs for no less than 52 weeks in a row.

Domien Verschuuren announced this today to the 26-year-old singer in the afternoon show at Qmusic. On October 16, 2021 Flemming Viguurs (26) made his debut in the Top 40 with Amsterdam. Since then, he has not left the charts.

Flemming couldn’t grasp the news right away: ,,Wow! That’s a sign to drink champagne!” he responded. “It’s so bizarre. It all goes so fast. Every day something so cool happens. And sometimes it’s hard to realize what’s happening.”

The singer now has four Top 40 hits to his name. After his first single Amsterdam soon followed she wants me. At the moment he holds two places in the chart, with Automatically at number 28 and Back to start with Ronnie Flex at number 18.

After Davina Michelle, Flemming is the first Dutch artist to have been in the Top 40 continuously for a year from his debut. Other artists who also succeeded, albeit not after their debut, are Martin Garrix, Snelle, Armin van Buuren and the Vengaboys.
