Milder sentence for leader of Vietnamese human smuggling gang

More than three years ago, 39 migrants died during a transport from Zeebrugge to England. They suffocated in a refrigerator truck. Three minors were among the victims. The ringleader was sentenced to 15 years in prison in the first instance, but sees his sentence reduced to 10 years by the Court of Appeal. A co-defendant sees his sentence reduced from ten to four years in prison.
