MIlano, 24 Feb. (askanews) – A sunflower three meters high in Milan not to forget the war in Ukraine.
It has been entitled “(a) Forttenten Ukraine – A Symbol of Hope, a Reminder of Loss” the installation at the park of the Trees’ Library (BAM) promoted by representation of the European Commission for Northern Italy and by the European Parliament office in Milan, in collaboration with the Cesvi Foundation, the average fascination and Mirror, while the three years from the Russian invasion are remembered.
The work, signed by Mauro Seresini, features the sunflower, a flower symbol of Ukraine and wants to be an emblem of hope, so as not to turn off the spotlight on the current war that caused over 40 thousand victims and more than 10 million displaced people And to be a warning to international solidarity, as the only way to build a future of peace and stability.
