The operation, performed in London, was a perfect success. The defender will soon return to Italy to begin physiotherapy
Matteo Gabbia forced to stop. The defender, already out against Parma and Cremonese, underwent inguinal hernia surgery. The choice to intervene surgically was made following a consultation with professors Ernest Schilders and Rowena Johnson at the Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London. The operation, performed by Dr. Schilders in the presence of Dr. Mazzoni, it was perfectly successful. Gabbia will return to Italy tomorrow and will begin physiotherapy. The defender will be back at Allegri’s disposal in about a month.
