Milan Fashion Week February 2023, outfits and trends
Leather is the star of the Milan fashion week shows in February 2023. From Fendi the black midi skirt with slit to wear over high boots makes its way, enlivened with maxi pleats. The leather look is declined in various forms on the Milanese catwalks – from the covered down jacket to jeans-cut trousers up to the moto jacket, in burgundy or in the more classic black: a trend of the MFW Autumn-Winter 2023/2024 that continues in the wake bikercore of the Spring-Summer fashion shows.

Layering and velvets
Among the novelties of the next cold season, the layering cues different from the usual: instead of the classic winter sweater/shirt or cardigan/turtleneck combos, the stylists focus on layered sophistication that mix pieces and materials in an unprecedented way.
On one side Kim Jones, which looks to the archives and wardrobe of Delfina Delettrez Fendi to create original ensembles, such as the pleated skirt over tailored trousers; on the other, the asymmetrical Bermuda shorts and see-through dresses that reveal the lingerie by Glenn Martens.
