Mikko Rantanen rallied to power 1 + 2 as Colorado knocked out Carolina’s 11 goals in a 7-4 scout. At the same time, the team secured a victory for the Western Conference.

Rantanen’s point balance for the entire season is now 36 + 55 = 91. Thus, for the first time in his career, the Finn exceeded the limit of 90 power points. Even a 100-point ghost limit is possible, as Colorado still has seven games left to play.

Of the other Finns, Carolina also earned points Sebastian Aho (1 + 0) and Teuvo Sharp (0 + 1).

Last night’s most crushing victory was seen in Calgary as the host team, Flames, disciplined Arizona with 9-1 goals. There were as many as three men in the four power points: Matthew Tkachuk (2 + 2), Elias Lindholm (1 + 3) and Johnny Gaudreau (2 + 2).
