The NHL club organized a prank for its players.
Mikael Granlund rarely gets scared in the rink. PDO
Halloween is celebrated at the weekend, which is a celebration that permeates the entire country, especially in the United States.
The Anaheim Ducks staged a scary situation for their players in their own home hall at the Honda Center.
The hallway leading to the hall’s dressing rooms was staged to look like a renovation area. Cones, paint and various tiles were spread on the floor to make the space look chaotic.
The players had to pass through the door, next to which a prankster dressed in the clothes of a renovation worker was banging on a pipe. Then he pretended there was a problem.
The repairman took off his helmet and revealed his clown masked face in a creepy way. At the same time, sparks began to spray from the pipe, which were actually pyrotechnics.
The situation looked scary, but many Ducks players remained coolly on their feet wondering what happened.
Only at the end of the video, a group of three players, which included Cutter Gauthier, Nikita Nesterenko and scrolled through his phone Mikael Granlundwere really startled.
When the clown clown started roaring hysterically, Granlund took off like a pike from the beach in the opposite direction.
In the rink, Granlund is known as a brave player who doesn’t mind fighting situations, but outside the rink, his instinct for self-preservation seems to be in order.
The pranksters only asked some of the players for help in taking off their helmets. The clown masking revealed below alone did not make the players startle in the same way as the sparks flying from the pipe.
The Ducks play their next game the night before Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings.
