Sculptor Miina Äkkijyrkkä was denied a driving license in Turku.

Sculptor Miina Äkkijyrkkä, 75, was guilty of endangering traffic safety and driving a vehicle without a license on November 14, 2024 in Turku.
According to the punishment order confirmed by the prosecutor’s office, Äkkijyrkkä drove 117 kilometers per hour, when the speed limit in the area was 80 kilometers per hour.
After the deduction, the police measured the speed as 37 km/h.
Äkkijyrkkä was also guilty of driving a vehicle without the required driving license. He had been given a temporary driving ban just the day before, starting on November 13.
The police issued Äkkijyrka 36 daily fines, totaling 432 euros, for endangering traffic safety and driving a vehicle without permission.
In addition, he had to pay a crime victim fee of 40 euros.
