The star of the German championship was – of course – Olympic champion Malaika Mihambo (28). The long jumper flew to her sixth title with 6.85 m.
Although she is also world and European champion, says Mihambo: “There is always something special here, because I have very good memories.”
In 2018 her sporting star went to Berlin Olympic Stadium on. She became European Champion in Berlin, her first international title. After that it went steeply uphill.
Instagram star Alica Schmidt had nothing to do with the title over 400 meters.
The sprinter (SC Charlottenburg) was second fastest to her home game, but then finished third in the final (52.42 seconds) behind Corinna Schwab (51.61/Chemnitz) and Judith Franzen (52.27/Leverkusen).
