The US fashion brand Michael Kors has appointed a new person responsible for its women’s fashion range. Janice Sullivan took over as President of Womens Ready-to-Wear on Jan. 10, the Capri Holdings company said on Friday. In her new role, Sullivan is now responsible for “all aspects of Michael Kors’ global womenswear business, including design, production, merchandising and distribution” of Line Collection and Michael Michael Kors, reporting directly to CEO Josh Schulman Message.
Sullivan comes from the NYC Alliance apparel retailer, where she served as Group President of Sales, Merchandising and Design. Previously, she was CEO of the fashion brands Rebecca Taylor and Edun and held various management positions at well-known labels such as Calvin Klein and DKNY.
“We are excited to welcome Janice to our team,” CEO Schulman said in a statement. “I am confident that Janice will be an outstanding leader and make a significant contribution to driving the growth of Michael Kors’ women’s ready-to-wear division. Their extensive industry experience will be a key part of our continued success.”
