Michael “Bully” Herbig dedicates season 3 “LOL” to Mirco Nontschew

The third season “LOL – Last One Laughing” starts in mid-April on Amazon Prime. Bully Herbig and the entire “LOL” team take it for granted that scenes by the deceased comedian Mirco Nontschew that have already been turned off can be seen in it.

“Mirco belongs there and we want to show what great things he has done there again!”

After Nonchev’s death was surprisingly announced in December 2021, there was initial speculation as to how the unreleased footage would be handled. Now the moderator Michael “Bully” tells Herbig “Courier” clear: “Mirco belongs there and we want to show what great things he has done there again! And of course we dedicate this season to him.”

In the entertainment show, Nonchev was one of ten participants who, locked in a studio apartment, were not allowed to let their fellow combatants make them laugh for six hours. Nonchev was already taking part in the first season of the format. Herbig remembers that he only got to know Nonchev better through the show. He was a “lovely guy” and a “talented entertainer”. “It was a real gift!” says Herbig.

He further explains the decision to broadcast the material: “The worst thing we could do right now is cut out the micro. That would be terrible for us and for Mirco himself. I don’t think he would have wanted that at all.” The technical implementation would initially have been an intellectual challenge, but “everything went very harmoniously, lovingly, collegially and amicably”.

Mirco Nontschew was 52 years old and was known for his imitation skills. He had his own show “Mircomania” on Sat.1 and acted in the “7 Dwarfs” movies, among others.
