According to what was reported by the colleagues of Autocar, MG would be close to unveiling a new compact electric crossover. The car in question is the protagonist of a series of images disseminated via Twitter, where you can see the prototype with the customary camouflages that conceal the definitive shapes of the body.

The new compact crossover will join the current range, which includes the Marvel R Electric, the MG5 Electric and the ZS EV. Looking at the images of the prototype, the new model should have a shorter length than the ZS EV and have a rather dynamic style, characterized by a high waistline. According to Autocar, the car could be unveiled in prototype form at the next Beijing Motor Show, scheduled for April, before being unveiled in its final form by the second half of the year. According to the Chinese press, it could replace the second generation MG 3, produced since 2011 at the MG plant in Nanjing, China.
