Turkey’s legendary music group MFÖ met with their fans on the Paraf Kuruçeşme Open-Air stage for the first time as a full staff after Özkan Uğur, who has been in treatment for a while, returned to the stage. MFÖ and its fans were longing for the concert, which was held with the media sponsorship of Demirören Media Group and the organization of Poll Production by Polat Yağcı.
Özkan Uğur, one of the soloists of the MFÖ group, who defeated lymph cancer for the second time in 2013, relapsed last April. Uğur, who has been undergoing treatment for a while, said on his social media account last month, “Thank God, I did not prevent me from going on stage during my treatment. As MFÖ, we will start our concerts in Istanbul in August, I hope… Thank you very much for your prayers and good wishes. See you soon.”

Days after Uğur’s words, MFÖ gave a concert in Kuruçeşme Open Air for the first time as a full staff after a long hiatus. At the night where their fans accompanied all their songs, MFÖ expressed their happiness with the words “We are longing for you to sing, we are longing for the three of us to sing”. The enthusiasm experienced on the stage of the legends, whose tickets were sold out days ago, was worth seeing, giving thousands of music lovers an unforgettable night.

Bringing their hit songs to the stage with their unique performances, MFÖ turned their concerts into an interactive show with the sound play they invited the audience. Their performance, which thousands of fans matched exactly, received ten stars from MFÖ.
“OUR JOY HAS COME”
MFÖ answered the questions of the members of the press before the stage. Özkan Uğur said about his health status: “The treatment process is going well. There is no obstacle for me to go on stage. Everything is going well,” he once again put his fans at ease.
Fuat Güner from the group, who will be on the stage together for the first time after a long time with his bandmates returning to their midst, said, “We couldn’t have concerts without Özkan. We weren’t doing either. Now he has come”, Mazhar Alanson said, “We are very happy that Özkan has arrived. It doesn’t happen when one of us is missing.
