The Mexican AZ fan José Luis Alcántara Zamora had the day of his life today. The Mexican visited the AZ stadium and the training complex of the Alkmaarders for the first time in his life. “An emotional day for me,” said Alcántara Zamora.

José is from Cuernavaca, Mexico. For the first time in his life he and his wife are in Europe and then of course his favorite club AZ has to be visited. “I have been a fan since 2009. That was because Hector Moreno then played at AZ and they became national champions. My initials also happen to be AZ,” he says about how his love for AZ arose.
“This is a dream come true”
NH Sport took the couple today to the training complex in Wijdewormer and the AZ stadium. There was also a lightning visit to the Zaanse Schans and a spontaneous meeting with Ron Vlaar. “This is a dream come true.”
