The first report of the fire came in around 7:45 p.m. A spokesperson for the Kennemerland Safety Region says that a fire broke out in one house on the complex. “That house has been lost.” The fire was under control around 8:30 p.m.
Four or five other houses were damaged by the fire. The other houses in the complex are being checked for damage. There were no injuries.
Gas bottles
The fire also caused a number of gas bottles to explode. It is not yet clear how the fire could have started.
