Metallica’s new album “72 Seasons” was released today (April 14th). The Californian metal band released the first single from the new record in November 2022: “Lux Æterna”. “Screaming Suicide” followed in January, and “If Darkness Had A Son” in March. Finally, on March 30th, the “Enter-Sandman” rockers released the title track “72 Seasons”. Now fans can look forward to the complete work with its total of 12 songs and a playing time of 77 minutes.

Metallica will launch theirs on April 27th “M72 World Tour” at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam. On May 26th and 28th, the group around frontman James Hetfield will play concerts in Hamburg’s “Volksparkstadion”. The 2023 leg of the tour concludes on November 12th in Detroit, USA. The following year there will be a second leg of the tour, starting on May 24, 2024 in Munich. The “M72 World Tour” will end on September 24, 2024 in Mexico City.
