Message of peace from towers around the world, Ypres joins in

The action was set up by the World Carillon Federation, and is fully supported by the Russian carillonneurs. After all, in recent decades a carillon culture has started in both Russia and Ukraine, with new carillons in Kiev and Saint Petersburg.

In both countries there are carillonneurs who have obtained a carillon diploma and there are also new carillon students. All carillonneurs work together, regardless of their country of origin.

The musical message resounded not only in Europe, but also in America, Asia and Australia.
