How were the beginnings in your profession?
This is my second profession. I was an independent architect for more than 20 years, until I decided to change course. I wanted more autonomy, flexibility and better income. The first person to trust my new profession was my friend Alicia von der Thusen, a reference in heritage insurance. And while I studied, I met Nicolás Gaite who, in addition to an advisor, is a trainer for life and retirement insurance consultative; Who together with Silvina D’Arrea, with more than two decades of experience in the field, are the directors of global advisors. They, in alliance with the Ipsum Broker of Insurance, taught me that most people do not resolve their financial forecast. That social vacuum motivated me. Eight years ago I accompany those who seek financial protection.
What are the services you provide?
Although I live from sales, I don’t sell insurance. Insurers sell insurance. My job is to ask, listen; Analyze risks and possibilities. Thus, design financial protection strategies for professionals, entrepreneurs and families. In this way, they make intelligent and well -informed decisions about whether to hire insurance, or not, will provide value for their family and work context. I work with an advisory approach, empathetic, personalized and without pressure.
What impact do you want to generate with your work?
I want insurance to cease to be seen as an expense or a procedure. They are an intelligent strategy to the great risk we all have: losing what matters most to us. My purpose is to provide real, human and professional support for my clients to make decisions with peace of mind and well accompanied.
What are your differentials in the field?
I consider myself a seller of insurance consciousness. In my work I speak little of insurance, policies, prices or insurers. To the people who consult me I ask them what worries them; What is the worst financial scenario they imagine in their family and work context. From there, together, we build solutions. If the proposal makes sense, a relationship begins that usually lasts years, and is strengthened in each eventual incident. That’s why they choose me.
If you started again, what would you do differently?
I would trust me more. I would set aside perfectionism. I learned that my greatest strength is my personal and work trajectory on the one hand; and the constancy on the other. I do not give up easily, and that in this profession makes a big difference.
