In January 2025, the two men set off a cobra with flammable liquid at a house on Alkmaarse Olieslagerstraat. This caused a fire. Ultimately, it was the father of the family in the home who was able to quickly extinguish the fire.

Failed attempts Lekstraat
In February 2024, the main suspect was also involved three times as a client in attempted arson at a home on Lekstraat. These attempts were unsuccessful, because the police were able to intervene in time.
The house was closed by the police at that time, because they knew that an attack might be committed.
A firearm, an electroshock weapon and two cobras were also found in the house of the main suspect’s grandmother, where he lived.
56 and 20 months in prison
The main suspect receives 56 months in prison and must pay a total of 20,000 euros in compensation to the victims of the explosion.
The co-suspect gets 20 months in prison. Although he was only nineteen when he placed the fireworks bomb, he is not punished under juvenile law because the court sees no reason for this. He must also pay a total of 20,000 euros in compensation.
