After the illness and the need for a transfusion, Melek (Nehir Erdogan) is in hospital. Halil (Kutsi) saved her, to whom she unexpectedly reveals that she is ill: «I have cancer, I don’t know what awaits me» he says. Once again, the man promises to always be by her side and encourages her not to give up.

For Halil, the revelation takes over to the point of forgetting the appointment with Meryem (Dilaray Yesilyaprak) to set the wedding date. In turn, Meryem (Dilaray Yesilyaprak) suffers from the phrase uttered by Halil (“I would give my life for Melek”) and wonders why he proposed marriage to her, given that he is still so attached to Melek.

He talks about it with Basak (Zeynep Özder) and fate has a hand in it: Alpay (Kaan Çakir), who went to the hospital to collect a certificate, overhears the conversation and decides to use this information to his advantage. Indeed, the procedures for the custody of Defne (Rabia Soytürk), Kerem (Ulvi Kahyaoglu) and Seyit Ali (Poyraz Ar) proceed; the judge sets the hearing and thus hopes to snatch them from Melek and bring them back to Berlin.

Ömer goes to Istanbul to Defne

Meryem is no longer sure about the wedding. He reports the incident to Zümrüt (Zeyno Eracar) e faces Halil: If Basak had been ill, would he have stood by her as he did with Melek? Would he have put aside “something so important for your future?”. So he takes a break: they will only talk when he has cleared his mind.

Kerem and Mithat (Saim Güveloglu) discover that Melek is ill and rush to the hospital. Mithat takes the opportunity to speak privately with the oncologist who is treating her and asks her what chances there are that she will recover. Once he is made aware of the real diagnosis, he rushes to Seyran (Yagmur Özbasmaci), the only one he can confide in.

Meanwhile, Defne has left Gaziantep and finally breaks up with Ömer (Mustafa Mert Koç). Cumali (Nizam Namidar) and Zümrüt hope that their nephew will soon marry another girl and reiterate to Vildan (Sebnem Zorlu) that they will not authorize the wedding with Defne. Despite that, Ömer feels the need for a confrontation and goes to Istanbul in the hope of seeing her again. He arranges for her to meet her, but she is monitored closely by Funda (Ece Özdikici), who pretends to be sympathetic and does everything she can to convince her not to return to Gaziantep.
