Melek – The courage of a motherpreviews of episode 6 April 2026: plot

The tension is very high from the very beginning: Alpay (Kaan Çakir) wants to bring little Seyit Ali (Poyraz Ar) back to Berlin and Melek (Nehir Erdogan) runs to ask his family for help. Unexpectedly, her father immediately takes her side and rushes to the airport with her and Mahmut (Muharrem Türkseven): he will do anything to stop Alpay.

Meanwhile Kadriye (Hande Kaptan) is increasingly worried about her pregnancy: complains of abdominal pain and her gynecologist is unavailable. As always, takes out his frustrations on others. In this case, the victims are Defne (Rabia Soytürk) and Kerem (Ulvi Kahyaoglu), but his rants are interrupted by an illness.

Conflicts also intensify in the Sirhan family. Cumali (Nizam Namidar) confesses to Zümrüt (Zeyno Eracar) that Hafiz (Gökhan Mete) scolded him for getting Melek fired. The wife is still angry with Melek, but she doesn’t justify it and instead warns him: “What you did will have consequences,” she says.

Defne under accusation, Ömer asks Halil for help

Despite the energy expended, Melek loses the race against time because there are no traces of Alpay and Seyit Ali. The blame for what happened immediately falls on Defne. Kerem points the finger at his sisterconvinced that he handed Seyit Ali over to his father. Defne denies all the accusations, explaining that she lost sight of him while she was in the park, but neither her grandfather Seyit Ali (Mehmte Çevik) nor her mother believe her.

When Melek discovers that his daughter was in the company of Ömer (Mustafa Mert Koç), he forbids her from seeing him to avoid exacerbating the hatred between their family and that of Halil (Kutsi). The problems don’t end there, because Mithat (Saim Güveloglu) holds her responsible for Kadriye’s illness, who is now forced to rest completely. For Kadriye the opportunity is tempting and she takes advantage of it to blackmail Mahmut again: if she wants to stay by her side, she will have to break off all relations with Melek.

In the meantime, Halil is happy with Melek’s returnbut he doesn’t know what could happen if they both continued to frequent Hafiz’s shop. Then Ömer asks for his helpbecause he doesn’t want to break up with Defne, but this time he can’t count on his uncle’s support: he has to stick to Melek’s request and stop all contact.

Mahmut’s refusal, the truth about Alpay

The absence of little Seyit Ali is loud and, after careful consideration, Melek decides to go to Berlin. His father, however, prevents him from doing so to avoid getting into trouble. Although he appears adamant in front of her, Seyit Ali turns to Mahmut to ask him to go and get his nephew, but his son refuses. Well, Kadriye’s blackmail is already producing its effects.

So Mithatincreasingly angry at the attention paid to Melek, throws fuel on the fire. He asks Hilal why he doesn’t hold a grudge against his sister and, soon after, she reports to Seyit Ali that it was Cumali who got her fired. Faced with this certainty, Seyit Ali asks Cumali for explanations, who is categorical: Melek must leave Gaziantep.

It turns out later that Alpay never leftthanks to the advice of Funda (Ece Özdikici): Kerem’s football team reported him for fraud and he is now wanted. He therefore asks his partner to join him in Gaziantep, but Funda repays him with the same coin: he takes the money and disappears.
