THE MCM x SELASSIE UPCYCLING CAPSULE COLLECTION
German luxury fashion house MCM is once again going deep with up-and-coming artists – for the latest global upcycling project, MCM has teamed up with painter, composer and musician Selassie. Artist of a new generation who is looking for his equal. Born in Ghana, raised in the world, at home in Germany, an art maker who brings patterns and colors to life.
So the source of inspiration for the MCM Upycyling collaboration was to let patterns live. His work brings color to the deep paths of life & product.
Limited to 28 styles, the upcycling capsule includes statement pieces such as the MCM backpack, clutches and belt bags as well as small, functional accessories and add-ons.
The pieces from the collection will be available exclusively at EIA001.com for one week until June 7th, 2022. 100% of the proceeds from the sale go to the charity project Justine, which Selassie has supported from the start.
