Mayor De Panne wants E40 to be made safer in his municipality

The problem of traffic jams on the E40 in De Panne is not new. There is sometimes a long queue, especially on the exit towards the Plopsaland amusement park. That exit has already been extended. But recently there have been extra traffic jams due to border controls by the French police. The mayor of De Panne now wants mobile signs announcing traffic jams and a speed limit between Veurne and the French border.
