Mayor Jan Zwiers has closed a drug house in Beilen for a period of six months. The building at Raadhuisstraat 10 was raided by the police at the end of September.
The police found hard drugs and materials for packaging drugs. According to the police, it concerned a ‘trade quantity’ of hard drugs, which amounts to more than 0.5 grams. In addition to ordering food, it was also possible to have drugs delivered from the catering facility.
Two men aged 24 and 26 from Beilen were arrested during the raid.
