“Now on to the champagne”, jokes the youngest daughter of the well-known reality family Meiland.
Images from the entertainment program show that Maxime’s father, Martien Meiland, sheds a tear after the yes. “It’s unique,” Martien says later. “Handkerchief to hand.” Not Martien but Maxime’s mother Erica Renkema gave her daughter away at the altar. Claire, Maxime’s daughter from a previous relationship, gave the rings.
The entertainment program also spoke with Dirk Hoogstraten, the friend of Maxime’s sister Montana, and asked him if Montana can expect a wedding soon. “They say marriage comes marriage,” he replies, “but I don’t know yet.” Dirk’s father doesn’t think it’s a bad idea. “It wouldn’t stand in my way.”
Leroy and Maxime have been together for two years and have a daughter, Vivé, who was born in September 2021. In March of this year, cameraman Leroy proposed to Maxime.
