World Cup leader praises safety of current Formula 1 cars
SILVERSTONE – Sure, it was a combination of circumstances, but the sensational British Grand Prix showed where the Formula 1 leadership wants to go. Lap-long battles at the cutting edge at super-fast Silverstone, a surprise winner (Carlos Sainz) and further proof that today’s cars are extremely safe. Despite a bad day, Max Verstappen limited the damage at the same time.
