Max Verstappen had to settle for fifth place in the second free practice. Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz was the fastest man in the second practice session for the Italian Grand Prix ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris. Sergio Perez crashed in the closing stages and caused a red flag.
