Max Eberl fights for Olmo whereabouts

Sports director Max Eberl continues to fight for the whereabouts of the Spanish national player Dani Olmo at RB Leipzig.

“Nothing has been signed yet, nothing is done yet. We are in very, very good talks. Of course, as always, it’s about the ominous money, about possibilities. But I have to say to be fair, with him it’s a lot about perspective.” , said the 49-year-old in the “LVZ-Talk” in Leipzig.

Eberl also wants to convince the “proud Spaniard” with title opportunities: “I told him I signed here to win titles. I came to Leipzig to achieve something. And I want to do that with him. And I hope that he gets the kick at some point and says, come on, let’s do that,” emphasized Eberl.

Olmo’s contract with the German cup winners expires on June 30, 2024. The 24-year-old is repeatedly associated with FC Barcelona. The attacking midfielder was trained there for seven years as a youth.
