“Accept a new challenge”
VfL Osnabrück and central defender Maurice Trapp are now going their separate ways. As the third division club reported, the 30-year-old joins the reserves of 1. “After four years, the decision matured in me to take on a new challenge again after contact with Mainz was established. I didn’t take the decision lightly, I had an eventful and successful time at VfL. At the same time, I’m happy to be able to start a new chapter in football in a new environment,” said Trapp.
After four years together, VfL and Maurice Trapp go their separate ways. The 30-year-old central defender is leaving the Lila-Weiss to join the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05.
