Matti Suur-Hamari new Monday paralympic victory in the SB-LL2 class snowboard cross. The first victory came four years ago in Pyeongchang.

Of the United States Garrett Geros was second in the race and Australian Ben Tudhope third.

Greater Hamar became the 11th Finn to celebrate his Paralympic victory in consecutive Winter Paralympics.

The victory of 35-year-old Greater Hamar did not come as a big surprise, as the man was already responsible for the two fastest declines in the qualifiers.

In addition to a pair of Paralympic golds, the Grand Hamar Prize Cabinet also features two World Championship golds from the snowboard cross and one World Cup gold and Paralympic Bronze banked slalom.

In 2016, Suur-Hamari won the X Games and the World Cup.
