Matthijs van Nieuwkerk informed Wilfred Genee in an app that there is no truth in the rumors about his TV interview with Ivo Niehe. “Ivo arranged that all by himself!” shouts the TV star.
It has been causing annoyance for some time that Matthijs van Nieuwkerk is treated so sparingly. As if you should treat that man with the utmost caution. He was recently in Ivo Niehe’s interview program, but not a word was said about the big De Wereld Draait Door scandal. And there was a real ban on the images.
Critical jibe
Both RTL Boulevard and Shownieuws were not allowed to purchase fragments from Ivo and, according to critics, this was stipulated by Matthijs. René van der Gijp thinks that is ridiculous. He shouted in VI on Monday: “I’m getting a bit tired of all those Matthijs van Nieuwkerk stories, Johan. You can’t ask him this, you can’t ask him that.”
He sighed at the table: “We’re not talking about Jesus Christ, are we, guys? Just take a break, man! We’re talking about a man who did a talk show in the Netherlands. Come on, hey!”
Matthijs denies
Matthijs now denies that he is the one behind the broadcasting ban. Wilfred Genee says in the latest episode of Today Inside to René: “By the way, yesterday you said about Matthijs that he was so difficult about those moments. I received another text from him. He said: ‘I really have nothing to do with it.’”
“He says: ‘Ivo Niehe really arranged that all by himself, so you can broadcast it all as far as I’m concerned.’ So Ivo might have just laid down in front of it himself.”
