Matthijs van Nieuwkerk will not appear in the music programs around the Top 2000 this year. The NTR has decided to do so after news came out last Friday about an unsafe working atmosphere at De Wereld Draait Door.
“This year there will be no Top 2000 quiz and Top 2000 a gogo with Matthijs van Nieuwkerk. As a result of the content and effect of the Volkskrant article, both NTR and Matthijs have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to allow the recordings of the Top 2000 a gogo scheduled for December to take place,” said a spokesperson for NTR.
