Matthijs van Nieuwkerk yesterday ‘extremely irritated’ walked away from a camera crew of Shownieuws. He was not pleased with questions about his alleged tyrannical behavior.
A nature film has been made about the return of the wolf in our country, WOLF, and Matthijs van Nieuwkerk is the voice-over. He showed up at the premiere yesterday with his new girlfriend, for whom he has reportedly left his wife, and there was also a camera crew from Show news out of the way.
Matthijs irritated
That Shownieuws team was especially curious what Matthijs thinks of the rumors about his alleged monstrous behavior during his years at De Wereld Draait Door, but the presenter was not pleased with that. He just wanted to dish up some boring canned answers about that wolf movie.
Private boss Evert Sankrediets at the Shownieuws desk: “We tried to ask Matthijs about it, but the moment the conversation took a slightly different turn than about that documentary, he was gone and extremely annoyed that we dared to ask about it at all. .”
Wolf in sheep’s clothes
It is again a coincidence that Matthijs is recording a wolf film, says Evert. “He himself is called a wolf in sheep’s clothing, because a ‘tyrant’ has been working in Hilversum, who is always said to be Matthijs van Nieuwkerk.”
He continues: “There are several behind-the-scenes television employees who complain about a particular presenter without mentioning his name, and everyone in the circuit pretty much thinks they know that that happened behind the scenes of the very successful De Wereld Draait Door all these years.”
New sweetheart
Prior to that premiere, Matthijs was having a lot of fun with his new sweetheart Martha Riemsma. “That is a good sign, because during his holiday in Saint-Tropez last summer, several Dutch tourists saw that there was a huge fight between the two at the table in a very chic restaurant in Saint-Tropez.”
The two were spotted in the luxurious Château de la Messardière in early August. “Apparently it has all been settled again, because it is thick again. Fortunately, because for her he left his family… Well, his children had already left home, but left his wife. That was not in vain.”
