After his world record on the 48-hour walk earlier this year, Matthieu Bonne is ready for the next challenge. On Saturday, October 18, Bonne will participate in the 24-hour walk in Albi World Championship, in the south of France. The competition takes place on a calibrated course around the athletics stadium. The current world record at 24 hours has been in the name of Aleksandr Sorokin since 2022, with a distance of 319.61 kilometers. Bonne has been preparing for the new challenge since the summer and wants to break the record.

The competition starts on Saturday 18 October at 10 a.m. and continues until Sunday morning. Bonne will be accompanied by his regular support team and medical staff. His record attempt can be followed live again via social media and live tracking.
